Get ready, Dubai! The Dubai Fitness Challenge has returned, motivating both residents and visitors to engage in 30 minutes of physical activities daily for 30 days.

Taking place from October 26 to November 24, the challenge offers a diverse array of exciting events spread throughout the city.

Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Dubai Fitness Challenge aims to position Dubai as one of the world's most active cities.

The initiative encourages people to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines, fostering healthier lifestyles.

His Highness emphasized, “Dubai acknowledges the importance of physical, mental, and social well-being, consistently promoting an active lifestyle for everyone.

All you need is a firm commitment to enjoy 30 minutes of activity for 30 days. I urge each of you to start your fitness journey and transform your life.

Together, let's make the UAE the most active nation globally.”

The Dubai Fitness Challenge features a schedule packed with free sports activities, community-driven fitness events, and special signature events.

Upcoming highlights include the Dubai Stand-Up Paddle on November 2, the Dubai Ride on November 10, and the Dubai Run on November 24.

Notably, the Dubai Ride and Dubai Run offer participants the chance to traverse the city's iconic Sheikh Zayed Road.

In 2023, the challenge saw participation from 2.4 million people, including over 35,000 cyclists in the Dubai Ride and 226,000 runners in the Dubai Run.

If past events are any indication, you might even encounter royalty. At The Dubai Run, Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, participated in the 10-kilometer race.
