The Torch Doha has set a new standard for fitness by launching the world’s highest indoor gym.

Located 247 meters above the ground on the 50th floor of the iconic tower, it’s officially a Guinness World Record achievement and a groundbreaking addition to the fitness world.

Kanzy El-Defrawy, a Guinness World Records adjudicator, confirmed the accomplishment, remarking, “Congratulations, you are now officially amazing,” as the team received their record title.

This cutting-edge gym is part of The Torch Club, an exclusive fitness haven that blends advanced technology with the warmth of Qatari hospitality.

Occupying the 50th and 51st floors, it offers unparalleled views of Doha, including landmarks like the Aspire Zone, Khalifa International Stadium, and Aspire Dome.

The certification was presented to Abdulla Nasse Al-Naimi, acting CEO of the Aspire Zone Foundation, and Wael Al-Sharif, Area General Manager of The Torch Doha.

El-Defrawy explained that this is a completely new category for Guinness, meaning the record had no previous holder.

The Torch Doha, an architectural marvel designed to resemble an Olympic torch, isn’t new to making headlines.

Originally built for the 15th Asian Games in 2006, it also features the world’s largest external 360° screen, installed ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2022.

Now, with the introduction of The Torch Club, the tower continues to elevate wellness by offering state-of-the-art Technogym services and wellness experiences inspired by local culture, solidifying its position as an iconic landmark and fitness innovator.
