The announcement took place during a special event that acknowledged the contributions of government bodies, schools, businesses, partners, fitness centers, and local communities in making the annual initiative a major success.
Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council and CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, expressed gratitude to all individuals, organizations, and partners who have contributed to DFC’s success.
He highlighted that over the past eight editions of the event, more than 13 million people have participated.
Launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, the DFC was developed to fulfill his vision of making Dubai one of the most active cities in the world.
Driven by this leadership, the ongoing success of DFC aligns with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, further solidifying Dubai’s global reputation as a leader in business and lifestyle.
Speaking on the significance of the Challenge, Khalfan Belhoul remarked, “With 2025 declared the Year of Community in the UAE, I am confident that this year’s edition will once again unite friends, families, and organizations in the shared pursuit of a healthier, more active lifestyle.”
