According to The Daily Tribune, BRAVE CF 108 takes place on 5 September 2026 at the Pula Arena in Croatia — a reminder that while BRAVE CF is Bahrain-based, it takes its shows worldwide. Two headline bouts lead the bill: Croatia's Andi Vrtačić, unbeaten at 9-0 and making his BRAVE debut, faces France's Sofiane Bouafia at middleweight; and former BRAVE bantamweight champion Stephen 'The Sniper' Loman of the Philippines meets Georgia's Lasha Abramishvili, with the winner reportedly in line for a shot at the vacant bantamweight world title.

Whatever happens on the night, the fighters share one thing: a level of conditioning that is genuinely all-round. MMA is where several sports collide, and that is exactly why its training is such a good template for general fitness.

Why fighters are so well-rounded

  • Explosive power: the ability to move fast and hard for short bursts, then reset.
  • Gas-tank endurance: rounds demand a big aerobic engine so technique does not fall apart when fatigue hits.
  • Full-body strength: from the grip to the core to the legs, strength underpins everything and helps prevent injury.
  • Mobility and coordination: supple hips and quick feet keep movement smooth and safe.

Train like a fighter — no sparring required

The good news is you can build every one of those qualities without taking a single punch. High-intensity conditioning develops the burst-and-recover engine at the heart of combat sport, while our exercise library walks you through the strength and mobility moves that keep you powerful and durable. Add the community energy of group classes and you have a well-rounded week that would not look out of place in a fighter's camp.
