The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai, in collaboration with Careem, has launched an initiative that allows you to rent a bicycle for free this weekend.

This complimentary Careem Bike rental is intended for residents and visitors participating in the Dubai Ride, so early risers have a chance to secure a free bike for the day.

On the day of the main event, Sunday, November 10, you can use the Careem app to access the free bike rental between 2 am and 8 am.

For the third year running, Careem Bike is providing a free bike pass for those taking part in the Dubai Ride.

To take advantage of this offer, simply download the Careem app, apply the code DR24, and subscribe to the one-day pass at no cost.

You can collect your rental bike from either the pop-up stations at Entrance A near the Museum of the Future, Entrance E at Lower FCS, or any of the 197 stations throughout Dubai.

Any additional charges for rides exceeding 45 minutes will be waived, so if you're racing but not the fastest, there's no need to worry.

The one-day pass ensures that anyone registered for the Dubai Ride can use the Careem Bike throughout Sunday.

There's still ample time to register online.

Dubai Ride is a pivotal part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, which motivates residents to stay active through various sporty pop-ups and events.

Bikes are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so you'll need to act quickly to secure one.

Sami Amin, Senior Director of Operations at Careem, highlighted that the offer simplifies participation.

He mentioned, "We’re excited to support RTA’s mission to enhance the Dubai Ride experience for residents and tourists again this year.

By offering free bike rentals, we’re making it easier for everyone to participate, regardless of whether they own a bike."

Participants must bring their helmets and register on the Dubai Ride website.

While card details are required for security reasons, no fees will be charged for renting the bikes.
