It launched first in Saudi Arabia, in select GymNation clubs in Riyadh and Jeddah, with a planned expansion across the GCC that will add kanduras to the range.

What makes the story stick is where the idea came from. Rather than a marketing brainstorm, it grew out of members saying they wanted athleisure they could wear before and after training without changing who they are. “We wanted to combine gym community and local culture in a way that felt authentic and respectful,” GymNation Chief Marketing Officer Rory McEntee told the trade press. A Riyadh member, Abdulrahman Abdullah Almubayyed, put it simply: the collection does not try to replace tradition, it embraces it.

A launch that earned its noise

The drop clearly struck a chord. Campaign Middle East reported that the campaign delivered around 14 million impressions — a figure worth attributing to that outlet rather than treating as gospel, but one that matches the sheer volume of coverage the launch picked up across the region. It also lands against a backdrop of rising interest in health: GymNation survey findings cited alongside the launch had 94% of respondents saying they aspire to better health, and 43% saying they had increased their fitness spending over the past year.
