The latest insights: Life Time's annual wellness survey reveals an increasing demand for holistic fitness, recovery routines, supplements, and more.

Recovery matters: Recovery methods are taking center stage, with 69% of respondents expressing interest in sauna sessions. This surpasses the popularity of ice baths (42%) and assisted stretching (50%).

Strength-focused fitness: Building muscle emerged as the top fitness objective. Both younger and older participants favored weight training over cardio equipment, aiming to enhance strength and improve longevity.

Mental health benefits: A remarkable 99% of respondents reported feeling happier after workouts, while 80% regularly schedule time for self-care—highlighting the positive impact of exercise on mental well-being.

Nutrition overlooked: Although fitness is a primary focus, nutrition appears to take a backseat. According to the survey, 65% of participants do not follow a specific diet or eating philosophy.

However, most take daily supplements, with 60% of this group using two to four products each day.

A hot topic: Regarding GLP-1 receptor agonists, 61% believe these medications hold the potential to enhance overall health.

Looking ahead: With 75% of individuals planning to prioritize health by 2025—an increase of 20% from the previous year—the trend is moving in a positive direction.

The main challenge now is converting newcomers into regular participants.
