Liverpool's standout player, Mohamed Salah, recently disclosed the secret to his impressive physical form as he gears up for the team's upcoming Premier League match.
In a conversation with Men In Blazers, Salah was asked about the secret to his "remarkable abs." With a grin, he responded:
"Well, abs are created in the kitchen, not just in the gym. You need to focus on eating well. Proper nutrition and fat burning are key to seeing body definition. From my research, diet plays a bigger role than the gym."
The interviewer then asked Salah for specific food advice to transform a "three-pack into an eight-pack." Salah, who celebrated his 32nd birthday last June, advised:
"I can suggest foods to cut from your diet. Try to reduce bread intake, opt for gluten-free alternatives, and limit dairy consumption. Avoid cheese and focus on greens while minimizing sugar."
Salah, with his Liverpool contract concluding next June, has kicked off the 2024-25 season on a high note, scoring two goals and providing one assist in his first two Premier League matches. He is set to play against Manchester United this Sunday, September 1.
In related news, Arne Slot commended Liverpool's recent acquisition. Earlier this week, Liverpool secured Federico Chiesa from Juventus for a reported fixed fee of around £10 million plus £2.5 million in additional fees.
Speaking to club media, Liverpool's head coach, Arne Slot, praised the 26-year-old Italian winger. According to This Is Anfield, Slot stated:
"Federico is at an ideal age. He brings both experience and talent, along with the potential for further growth, which is very exciting for us.
I've mentioned throughout the summer that signing players for Liverpool is challenging due to our high standards, but with Federico, I truly believe we've added someone who enhances our current squad."
Chiesa, who recently signed a four-year contract with the club, contributed significantly to Juventus, helping them secure three trophies—the Coppa Italia in 2021 and 2024, and the Supercoppa Italiana in 2020.
During his tenure, he scored 32 goals and provided 23 assists in 131 matches.
