Abu Dhabi Hosts HYROX in July

Abu Dhabi will host HYROX, the world’s largest indoor fitness race, on July 19, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS).

This eagerly awaited event, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in partnership with HYROX, represents a significant milestone for Project 206, the organization spearheading HYROX’s expansion into the Middle East.

HYROX Abu Dhabi will unite athletes, fitness fans, and gym enthusiasts in a high-energy competition that emphasizes strength, endurance, and excitement.

As one of the fastest-growing global fitness races, HYROX blends running with functional fitness exercises in a unique, standardized format designed for all fitness levels.

Whether participants are beginners looking for a fresh challenge or seasoned athletes testing their limits, HYROX Abu Dhabi is set to become a highlight on the city’s sporting agenda.

The event consists of eight 1-kilometer runs, each followed by a functional workout, offering a comprehensive challenge to competitors’ stamina and strength.

Participants have the option to compete individually (male and female categories), in pairs (male, female, or mixed), in the pro division for advanced athletes, or in the relay division for teams of four, promoting teamwork and cooperation.

Additionally, HYROX Abu Dhabi will feature an Adaptive Division to welcome athletes with physical disabilities, underlining the race’s commitment to inclusivity and accessibility.
