Abu Dhabi Summer Sports Launch

ADNEC Group, in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, has unveiled the third and most extensive edition of Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS) in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain (AASS). 

This year’s event introduces new sports activities and wellness initiatives, catering to various age groups and fitness levels for an enriched summer experience.

Event Venues and Features

The ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi will host ADSS until August 23, 2024, featuring 37 sports fields, courts, and pitches. Meanwhile, the Al Ain ADNEC Centre will hold its activities until August 25, 2024.

New additions to this year’s event include action cricket, tennis, and an obstacle course.

Returning favorites include football, padel, a 1km running track, cricket, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and a functional fitness area equipped by Technogym.

The total event area has increased by 25%, now covering over 34,000 square meters in Abu Dhabi, up from 27,000 square meters in previous years.

Kids Summer Camp

A kids summer camp has been introduced for this edition of ADSS, running from Monday to Friday throughout the summer.

The camp offers a broad selection of activities, from sports to arts and crafts, aiming to foster creativity and learning while keeping children active in a fun environment and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

Accessibility and Booking

ADNEC Group has developed a mobile app in addition to its web-based platform.

These tools allow customers to access information on ADSS and book a wide variety of activities conveniently.
