Ajman to Host 2025 Asian Bodybuilding Championship

Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and in the presence of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, Ajman is preparing to welcome the 58th Asian Fitness and Bodybuilding Championship for the first time.
The competition will take place from June 15 to June 17, 2025, at the Emirates Hospitality Centre, showcasing participants from 23 Asian nations and marking an important milestone for Ajman’s sports sector.
Alongside the championship, the Asian Bodybuilding Federation's Annual Congress will be held on June 14.
This event will gather esteemed figures, top athletes, and stakeholders from across Asia, as well as leaders of both Asian and international federations, to discuss strategies for advancing bodybuilding at regional and global levels.
The official opening ceremony, organized by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, is set to take place on Sunday morning.
It will be attended by dignitaries, officials, representatives from regional sports organizations, media, and the general public.
Highlights of the ceremony will include the unveiling of the championship’s logo and mascot, ‘Mayed,’ which were introduced during the recent Arabian Travel Market.
The event will also feature traditional cultural performances, celebrating Ajman’s vibrant heritage and cultural identity.
This championship serves as a platform for Ajman to showcase its organizational capabilities and strengthen its position as a hub for tourism, culture, and global events.
It reflects the collaborative efforts of key organizations, including the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, the International Federation of Fitness and Bodybuilding, and the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation.
