Al Ain Summer Sports Returns with a Bang

The second edition of Al Ain Summer Sports (AASS) has officially kicked off at the ADNEC Centre Al Ain, offering a massive air-conditioned sporting haven for residents and visitors to escape the summer heat.

A Sports Extravaganza for All

Running until August 18, the event was inaugurated by Arif Al Awani, Secretary General of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group.

Spanning over 6,500 square meters, this expansive venue is home to 15 indoor courts and fitness zones, featuring 11 different sports such as football, basketball, padel, badminton, tennis, and action cricket.

Open daily from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., AASS ensures participants of all ages can adopt healthy lifestyles while enjoying their favorite activities in a safe, cool environment. The program also includes community competitions, team tournaments, and specialized training sessions.

A Vision for Wellness and Inclusion

Speaking at the event, Al Awani highlighted AASS’s mission to promote activity and community connections. “By offering world-class sports facilities and diverse activities, we aim to inspire people to prioritize fitness and well-being, especially during the summer months,” he said.

Humaid Al Dhaheri echoed this, emphasizing the event’s inclusive nature. “Combining fitness with fun and accessibility, we’re proud to align with the UAE’s ‘Year of Community’ and support a national culture of active living.”

Building Skills and Community

Certified coaches lead specialized training and workshops that aim to improve sports skills, boost fitness levels, and facilitate personal growth.

Additional amenities, including healthy food trucks, secure parking, and group packages, make AASS a well-rounded experience for everyone.

Free Entry for the First Three Days

From July 5 to July 8, visitors can register online or through the event’s mobile app for free access to the activities.

Beyond this, various affordable packages are available for individuals, families, and groups, allowing participants to enjoy the event with flexibility and ease.
