Recently, Mike Tyson made his way to the Allegiant Stadium, Sincity, for the match between Las Vegas Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers. Meanwhile, Raiders host Sibley Scoles caught up with the legendary boxer ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson. During their interview, Tyson shed light on his plans for the International Mike Tyson boxing gym in Saudi Arabia.
The news of Mike’s boxing gym came after the announcement of the Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury fight. Mike had joined Ngannou’s corner as a trainer and has been a major part of Ngannou’s training camp. The fight will unfold in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, yet that’s not the only thing Mike is concerned with. Mike’s first boxing gym will go into operation in Saudi this month, and he is hard at work for its launch. So, when asked about what he is up to recently, Mike detailed his plans for the boxing gym.
Mike Tyson visits Allegiant Stadium for the first time
While highlighting Mike’s training camp with Ngannou and his visits to Las Vegas throughout his career, Scoles asked Mike about his current activities. “What are you working on right now?” Scoles asked. Mike quickly declared, “A Franchise of Mike Tyson boxing.” Then Scoles asked Mike if Las Vegas was the first location. “Saudi Arabia,” Tyson promptly informed Scoles.
Besides talking about his business venture in Saudi, it was Mike’s first visit to the Stadium at Wynn Field Club. Expressing his first impressions about the venue, Mike said, “This is the future. Vegas is the future promised land.” He even spoke about whether any football players could transition into boxing. “All of them…It’s all the same thing, basically,” Mike told Scoles.
Moreover, ahead of the exciting crossover battle of the heavyweights between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury, Iron Mike had something to say to the Gypsy King.
Warning to Tyson Fury from ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’
Francis Ngannou will make his boxing debut against the ‘Gypsy King’. The fight will unfold in the city of Riyadh on 28 October. While fans are excited about the upcoming matchup, they also think it’s nothing but a cash grab. Most fans believe Fury will easily take home the victory because Ngannou has zero experience in boxing. However, Ngannou’s trainer, Mike Tyson, doesn’t share that belief and warned Fury about the fight.
