If you’re struggling to find time for the gym, you’re not alone.

In 2015, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Sport conducted its first National Sports survey to determine how many citizens engage in physical activities to improve their health and maintain fitness.

The survey revealed that only 13 percent of Saudi citizens over the age of 15 exercised weekly.

Based on these findings, the Saudi government incorporated this into their Vision 2030 plan.

When they repeated the survey in early 2018, they found a 10 percent increase from the previous quarter, surpassing their target of 20 percent by 2020.

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030’s Quality of Life objectives, the Kingdom introduced various fitness-focused facilities, events, and initiatives, resulting in 48.2 percent of the population participating in physical and sports activities for at least 30 minutes a week.

The aim of enhancing people’s lifestyles has created numerous opportunities and new workout spaces.

These improvements and the easy access to these facilities encourage citizens to integrate health and fitness into their daily routines.

Plus, with Jeddah's year-round summer weather, it's always a “hot girl summer."
