"We are what we eat." This saying holds true, especially when we look at the diet and lifestyle choices of celebrities and WWE stars.

Their healthy habits often inspire fans to make better choices themselves. Today, we’re focusing on the dietary habits of Cody Rhodes, also known as the "American Nightmare."

Cody Rhodes' Diet Plan and Challenges

Cody Rhodes, the current undisputed WWE champion, is well-known for his impressive physique and core strength.

Weighing in at 220 lbs, Rhodes has dedicated countless hours to honing his body, making him a formidable opponent in the ring.

He attributes much of his success to his disciplined diet, which involves forgoing temporary pleasures and controlling cheat meals.

Cody Rhodes' Diet Plan

In a 2021 interview with GQ, Rhodes shared insights into his diet plan. Although he emphasized that his personalized diet chart is tailored to his unique needs and might not work for everyone, he was happy to share his regimen.

Rhodes never skips breakfast, which he considers the most important meal of the day. "I'm an egg whites guy. Basic, dry wheat toast guy.

I don't really have any breakfast meat because of the sodium and the added salt," he mentioned. Rhodes prefers to keep his breakfast simple and avoids meat in the morning.

Throughout the day, Rhodes eats every three hours to manage hunger and maintain his daily calorie intake. He avoids heavy meats like Korean beef or steak but enjoys charbroiled chicken with rice, calling it his “comfort” food.

"It's boring, but it's almost always white rice, grilled chicken, and Thai peanut sauce," he shared.

Interestingly, Rhodes dislikes vegetables despite knowing their health benefits.

To ensure he consumes enough greens, he and his trainers have devised ways to hide vegetables like broccoli in his meals.

When traveling, Rhodes makes conscious food choices to stay on track, such as avoiding mayonnaise, skipping buns, and requesting no oil in his food. These small adjustments help him maintain his diet while on the move.

Cody Rhodes' Workout Routine

Cody Rhodes' fitness routine complements his strict diet and is a significant factor in his well-toned physique.

In an episode of Sheamus’ Celtic Warrior Workouts (Episode 127), Rhodes and Sheamus engaged in a rigorous “Cody Cutter Workout” session to prepare for a match against Roman Reigns.
