Get ready to put on your sneakers because the Dubai Fitness Challenge is set to return this month.

From Saturday, October 26, to Sunday, November 24, 2024, participants are encouraged to engage in at least 30 minutes of exercise every day for 30 consecutive days.

Now in its eighth year, the goal of the Dubai Fitness Challenge is simple yet ambitious: to turn Dubai into one of the most active cities worldwide.

Here's a comprehensive guide to the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024.

Fitness Villages

Among the most iconic events is the DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village, offering a variety of classes and workouts with the stunning backdrop of one of Dubai's favorite beaches.

This year also introduces two new fitness villages. The RTA Al Warqa’a Park 30×30 Fitness Village caters to all ability levels and includes a dedicated kids zone and a ladies-only area.

Additionally, the Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30×30 Fitness Village features a cycling enthusiast's spinning zone, various running clubs, a Tough Mudder obstacle course, and a main stage for talks and events.

Here, participants can also collect bibs and shirts for major events like Dubai Ride and Dubai Run.

Iconic Events

  • November 2: Dubai Stand-Up Paddle

Making its second appearance, this event is held at the scenic Hatta Dam and offers classes for everyone from beginners to experienced paddlers.

New for 2024, paddlers can also try kayaking. Participation is free, but registration is required once it opens.

  • November 10: Dubai Ride

Now in its fifth year, Dubai Ride 2024 is a beloved tradition that allows cyclists to travel past some of the city’s most famous landmarks.

New this year is the Dubai Ride Speed Laps, where participants can test their speed limits. Registration is free and will open shortly.

  • November 24: Dubai Run

This popular run allows participants to jog through the heart of Dubai, passing world-famous sites like the Museum of the Future, Emirates Towers, and Burj Khalifa.

Choose between a 5km or 10km route, both starting near the Museum of the Future. Register for free to join over 200,000 runners on this unique course.
