Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) has emerged as a leader in corporate and social responsibility, driving a nationwide movement centered on health, fitness, and sustainability.
By seamlessly merging financial empowerment with community well-being through its wellness initiatives, DIB is redefining what corporate responsibility looks like.
By prioritizing wellness on a large scale, the bank has set new standards in corporate engagement.
DIB has proven that a strong focus on health, sustainability, and community ties can align perfectly with business growth.
Partnering with Fitze, DIB reached over 120,000 participants, accumulated Dh100,000 in charity donations, and celebrated 140+ winners, contributing significantly to the UAE’s fitness culture.
Through creative campaigns blending financial incentives with community participation and sustainability, DIB went beyond encouraging healthier habits—it made wellness a way of life.
These efforts align with the bank’s focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals, positioning DIB as a model for businesses aiming to create meaningful societal outcomes.
The “Walk to Win a Bonus Salary” initiative became a standout highlight of the year. This campaign saw 15,000 participants take a collective 3.7 billion steps, with ten winners earning Dh10,000 apiece simply by staying active.
By combining fitness goals with financial rewards, DIB not only promoted healthier lifestyles but also introduced a new, impactful way of fostering community engagement.
This initiative successfully combined physical health and financial well-being, fostering a sense of connection and motivation among participants.
Beyond monetary rewards, DIB’s Ramadan Steps Challenge inspired more than 8,000 UAE residents to walk a combined 1 billion steps.
The result? A Dh100,000 donation to Dubai Cares, supporting global education for underprivileged children.
Likewise, during the Dubai Fitness Challenge, participants encouraged by DIB collectively walked over 2.4 billion steps, reflecting the bank’s alignment with the UAE government’s vision of building a vibrant, health-focused nation.
DIB didn’t stop at digital campaigns. The bank also organized five monthly Fitze Fun Mall Runs, attracting more than 2,200 participants.
These events created a culture of community, sparking deeper connections and encouraging individuals to make fitness an integral part of their routines.
The focus extended beyond individual accomplishments to collective transformation, embedding wellness into the social fabric of the UAE.
