Dubai Marathon 2026 Registration Now Open

The Dubai Marathon organizing committee has announced the opening of registration for the 25th edition of the prestigious event, scheduled for February 1, 2026.

Marking its silver jubilee, this milestone event will celebrate its place as the Middle East's longest-running international road race with special activities and top-tier competition.

Supported by the Dubai Sports Council, the marathon is famed for its flat, fast course, attracting elite athletes and running enthusiasts worldwide.

With participants expected from over 140 countries, the event remains a highlight in Dubai’s sports calendar and a significant fixture on the global marathon stage.

The Dubai Marathon, the first in the region to achieve the prestigious Gold Label status from World Athletics, is renowned for its record-breaking performances and world-class competitors.

The race has hosted legendary athletes like Haile Gebrselassie, who delivered the second-fastest marathon time in history during his Dubai debut in 2008, further elevating the marathon's international reputation.

The Dubai Sports Council has reiterated its commitment to supporting the marathon, emphasizing its role in enhancing Dubai's global sports profile and boosting the city’s economy through tourism and hospitality.

Over the past 25 years, the marathon has risen to become one of the top ten globally, drawing elite athletes and thousands of amateur runners each year.

The 2026 edition will include not only the iconic 42.195 km marathon, but also a 10 km road race and a 4 km fun run, ensuring an inclusive experience for participants of all fitness levels.
