On Sunday, November 10, tens of thousands of cyclists participated in the Dubai Ride as part of the yearly Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC).
For the event's fifth installment, Sheikh Zayed Road was converted into an extensive cycling track, allowing participants to cycle past some of Dubai's most renowned landmarks.
A section of Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai was closed on Sunday morning to accommodate the Dubai Ride public cycling event, with authorities providing alternative routes for drivers.
Dubai Ride aligns with the vision of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, to transform the city into one of the world's most active metropolises and to achieve the broader goal of making Dubai the top city globally for living, working, and visiting.
