The Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend is set to make its grand return from November 13–16, 2025, promising an even bigger and better experience for sports enthusiasts.

Organized by the Dubai Sports Council in collaboration with the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO), this second edition builds on the tremendous success of its 2024 debut.

Registration Now Open

Amateur triathletes can now register for this highly anticipated event, which offers two race distances:

  • The 100 km race, featuring a 2 km swim, an 80 km bike ride, and an 18 km run.

  • The sprint distance, comprising a 750 m swim, 20 km bike ride, and 5 km run.

Participants of all abilities are welcome to compete in this celebration of athletic excellence.

Dubai’s Vision for Sports Tourism

Ahmed Al-Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, emphasized the triathlon’s strategic value.

“Events like the Dubai T100 Triathlon bolster Dubai’s position as a global leader in sports tourism, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to establish the city as a premier destination for business and leisure,” he said.

Following the remarkable success of 2024’s inaugural event, the 2025 edition is expected to draw international attention, boost the local economy, and showcase Dubai’s dynamic offerings to the world.

Exciting Plans for 2025

Eisa Sharif, Director of Sports Events at the Dubai Sports Council, announced plans to elevate the triathlon experience.

“Dubai has become a global hub for triathlons, thanks to its world-class infrastructure and expertise.

The T100 attracted top athletes, including Olympic champions, and crowned the first men’s and women’s world champions in Belgium’s Marten Van Riel and America’s Taylor Knibb,” he said.

Last year, nearly 10,000 amateur athletes took part in the races, including an untimed 5 km music run open to all ages and abilities, perfectly blending with the Dubai Fitness Challenge’s goal of 30 minutes of activity for 30 days.

For 2025, the event will feature expanded race categories, including a new schools event and corporate relay, to further engage the community.

A Global Showcase

Sam Renouf, CEO of the Professional Triathletes Organization, shared his excitement about returning to Dubai.

“The 2024 event quickly became a bucket-list race on the T100 World Tour. For 2025, we’re thrilled to expand opportunities for amateur athletes, corporate teams, and sports enthusiasts to enjoy a festival-like atmosphere at Meydan Racecourse,” Renouf said.

The 2025 T100 Triathlon World Tour has already made stops in Singapore, San Francisco, and Vancouver, with upcoming events in London on August 9–10.

The rankings are currently led by Swiss Olympian Julie Derron for women and reigning men’s champion Marten Van Riel of Belgium.

With the Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend promising a dynamic lineup of races and community-driven experiences, it’s poised to become a flagship entry in the global sporting calendar once again.
