DXB Hosts Runway Spin Class

Not everyone enjoys exercising, but joining a spin class on the Dubai Airports runway was an opportunity too good to pass up.

Dubai International (DXB) broke new ground today by turning its runway into a vibrant cycling studio with CRANK.

This unique fitness event featured the spectacular backdrop of planes taking off and landing, creating an irresistible exercise experience.

Participants gave it their all, cycling to tunes from Swedish House Mafia and Lana Del Rey, among others, played through their headphones.

“Ride class, or spinning as we call it, is a low-impact cardio workout focused on music and great vibes,” explained Nuno Costa, the event's fitness instructor.

“It’s one of those unforgettable experiences that can only happen in Dubai,” he added.

Kate Francis, one of the attendees, remarked, “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we absolutely loved it.”
