Registration is now open for Dubai Ride, the city's largest community cycling event and a flagship highlight of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
How long is your ideal workout?
On the morning of November 2, cyclists of all ages and abilities will have the unique opportunity to ride along the 14-lane Sheikh Zayed Road, completely free of charge.
As part of the month-long Dubai Fitness Challenge, running from November 1 to 30, Dubai Ride encourages residents to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
The event, which saw a record 37,130 participants last year, is expected to attract even more riders this year.

Choose Your Route
Dubai Ride offers two distinct routes starting at dawn, ensuring there's a path for everyone:
- 4km Downtown Family Route: This flat, family-friendly route follows Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, taking riders past iconic landmarks such as the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera, and Dubai Mall. It's perfect for cyclists of all ages and skill levels.
- 12km Sheikh Zayed Road Route: For more experienced cyclists, this route runs from the Dubai World Trade Centre to Safa Park and back. It includes a climb over the Dubai Canal Bridge and offers stunning views of the Museum of the Future and Coco-Cola Arena.
What You Need to Know
- Start Times: The event kicks off at 5 a.m. with Speed Laps for advanced riders. The main rides for both routes begin at 6:15 a.m., with gates closing at 7:30 a.m.
- Speed Laps: Experienced cyclists who can maintain an average speed of 30km/h can take on the 12km route before the main event begins.
- Equipment: All participants must bring their own bike and wear a helmet. While e-bikes are permitted, scooters are not allowed.
- Inclusivity: People of determination are welcome and will have a dedicated starting area.
- Bib Collection: All registered participants must collect their bibs from the Dubai Municipality 30x30 Fitness Village at Zabeel Park between October 29 and November 1. You will need your registration QR code for collection.
