Ghani Souleymane isn’t just an endurance athlete—he’s a man on a mission. Capable of running, swimming, and cycling for hours on end, the 42-year-old Dubai resident and Togolese national is dedicating his incredible athleticism to a higher purpose.
On Friday, August 8, Ghani began an extraordinary challenge at Dubai’s Kite Beach: completing 100 consecutive T100 triathlons in 100 days to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer.

A Challenge Like No Other
Each day, Ghani will tackle a grueling sequence consisting of a 2km swim, an 80km bike ride, and an 18km run.
While the swim is set to take place at Kite Beach, the cycling and running segments will traverse various locations across Dubai, all culminating on November 16 at the T100 Race Village.
“This challenge is bigger than sport,” said Ghani. “It will push me to my limits, but I want to show what’s possible when you commit fully. I’m doing this to support children and to raise awareness for those battling cancer.”
The immense difficulty of this effort cannot be overstated. Completing even one triathlon demands hours of effort, but repeating it daily for over three months requires a mix of relentless discipline, physical conditioning, and mental toughness.
Ghani must manage muscle fatigue, joint strain, and the possibility of overuse injuries—on top of navigating Dubai’s challenging heat and humidity.
“The key will be to recover quickly every day so I can start again the next morning,” he explained. “This is as much a mental test as it is physical.”

An Open Invitation to Join the Journey
Ghani is encouraging residents to show their support and even join him for segments of his challenge. “I want people to be part of this journey,” he said.
“Anyone can come along for a swim, a ride, or a run. It’s about moving together and showing support for the children we are trying to help.”
This sense of collective action mirrors Ghani’s personal philosophy. Currently a running specialist at Adidas’ flagship store in Dubai, Ghani has completed equally monumental feats in the past.
He’s no stranger to pushing the limits of human capability, having completed 30 ultramarathons in 30 days in 2020, followed by 30 half-Ironman distances in 2021, and 30 full Ironman challenges in 2023.
“Sport gave me a second chance in life,” he said. “I hope this challenge inspires people to see that movement can transform lives—not just their own, but others too.
Even small efforts toward a healthier lifestyle can make a big difference.”

A Community Effort
Ghani’s monumental quest wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering support of his sponsors and collaborators.
His daily fuel intake clocks in at around 7,000 calories, with meals designed by Dubai-based SKitchen and nutritionist Yuri Nemoto to ensure he remains fueled and hydrated.
Additionally, equipment like a customized Ventum triathlon bike, tailored for his needs, has been provided by his sponsors.
Funds raised from this effort will go toward empowering children through sports and supporting those undergoing cancer treatment.
“Every dirham counts,” Ghani emphasized. “This is for the kids who need our help. If my effort gives them even an ounce of advantage in their fight, then it’s worth it.”
A Test of Endurance and the Power of Commitment
Ghani begins each day in the early hours, starting with the swim before transitioning to cycling and running. With the finish line months away, every moment is a test of resolve and passion.
But for Ghani, this effort is much more than an athletic feat—it’s a message of hope, resilience, and what can be achieved when commitment meets purpose.
By giving his all to inspire change and support those in need, Ghani Souleymane reminds everyone that great challenges are met with even greater determination.
This is a mission worth supporting, joining, and celebrating every single day of his 100-day quest.
