Starting his attempt on August 8 at Kite Beach in Dubai and concluding on November 16 at the T100 Race Village, Souleymane’s challenge showcases not only immense athletic prowess but also a heart for making a difference.
The Togo-born athlete, who has called Dubai home for the past eight years, will be raising funds for children through the Al-Jalila Foundation.
A Purpose Beyond Sport
“This challenge is bigger than sport,” Souleymane shares. “I know it will push me to my limits, but ultimately it’s about showing what’s possible when you commit fully.
I want to use this first-of-its-kind challenge to help others, especially disadvantaged children.”
Each triathlon will follow the official T100 format—2 km swim, 80 km bike ride, and 18 km run—totaling an astonishing 200 km of swimming, 8,000 km of cycling, and 1,800 km of running over 100 days.
The effort has the backing of the Professional Triathletes Organization (PTO), organizers of the T100 Triathlon World Tour, which has seen stops this year in Singapore, San Francisco, and Vancouver, with the London edition set to kick off just after Souleymane’s challenge begins.

A Champion for Change
Renowned in the UAE’s sporting community, Souleymane is no stranger to mind-boggling challenges.
From completing 30 ultramarathons in 30 days (2020) to finishing 30 half-Ironman triathlons (2021) and 30 full Ironman distances in 2023, his achievements are a testament to his mental and physical resilience.
Aside from his athletic ventures, Souleymane works as a running specialist at Dubai’s Adidas flagship store.
He actively uses his platform to champion youth empowerment, advocate for mental resilience, and support humanitarian causes.
His partnerships include Heroes of Hope, a UAE-based nonprofit aiding people of determination, and the Al-Jalila Foundation.
“Sport has the power to shine a powerful light on many worthy causes in our society,” says Souleymane. “Every step, wheel spin, or swim stroke of my attempts is undertaken to support others.”

Backed by Community and Sponsors
Souleymane’s undertaking has garnered global and local support. PTO CEO Sam Renouf commended the challenge, stating, “We did a double take when Ghani first got in touch and told us what he was thinking.
Doing 100 consecutive T100s is quite an undertaking... but he’s doing it for a fantastic cause. Ghani is showing what’s possible when someone puts their mind to it.”
Logistics and equipment are being covered by philanthropists and organizations such as 1inch.io, Nicegram.app, and SKitchen—a Dubai-based health food business ensuring Souleymane meets his demanding 7,000-calorie daily fueling needs.
Dubai-based creatives and business leaders have also contributed, with a customized Ventum triathlon bike emblazoned with Souleymane’s own logo, designed by creative director Tabrez Ahmad.

A Legacy in the Making
Set against the backdrop of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), the Dubai T100 serves as the finale to Souleymane’s monumental effort.
With sprint triathlons, school races, and duathlon relays also on the schedule, the T100 ensures there’s something for every participant, from beginners to pros.
For Souleymane, this challenge is about giving back. “Sport gave me a second chance in life,” he says.
“With the support of people from all walks of life here in Dubai, I can use my platform to give kids in the UAE and around the world their first chance. Every dirham raised will go toward causes that empower through sport.”
Ghani Souleymane’s 100 days of triathlon is proof that sport transcends physical limits—offering an unparalleled opportunity to inspire, connect, and make a lasting impact.
