Gold's Gym Expands with Flagship Locations and HYROX Partnership

Flagship Openings in Austin and Los Angeles

The new Austin flagship facility at 7301 Burnet Road, which opened June 30, marks Gold's Gym's largest Texas investment to date.

Spanning 30,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art gym boasts HIIT zones, functional training areas, a performance turf, a private posing room, and recovery features like HydroMassage and CryoLounge technology.

Similarly, the Beverly Center location at 8500 Beverly Blvd, launched on July 14, elevates fitness in Los Angeles' premier shopping district.

Operated by Gold's Gym SoCal, this facility offers an Atlantis Strength training zone, luxury amenities like steam rooms and saunas, and the chain's largest indoor training turf.

“Our newest openings reflect our commitment to meeting members where they are in their fitness journeys while staying at the forefront of industry trends,” said Danny Waggoner, Gold's Gym co-CEO.

“These spaces inspire the fitness community by integrating cutting-edge tools and high-quality training.”

Partnership with HYROX

Gold's Gym has teamed up with HYROX, the fastest-growing fitness racing series, solidifying its position in the competitive functional fitness space.

The first HYROX Performance Center in Little Elm, Texas—launched June 6—features certified coaching and official competition equipment.

This concept will soon expand to more Gold's Gym locations nationwide, catering to the surging interest in performance-based training.

Additional Expansion Highlights

Several other Gold's Gym facilities have opened with the brand's updated Venice Beach-inspired design, including new gyms at NoMaCNTR in Washington, D.C., and Hamilton in Northern California.

Upgrades are also underway at the San Antonio Bandera Trails location, adding over 5,000 square feet of expanded equipment and fitness areas this fall.

With four new locations already launched in 2025 and additional franchise openings planned, Gold's Gym is poised to further its industry leadership in strength training and functional fitness.
