It takes guts to prank some of the strongest men on the planet, but GymNation has done just that in a hilarious stunt to launch its new Strongman class.

What's your go-to workout time?

The gym cleverly used the celebrity video platform Cameo to trick a lineup of world-renowned strongmen into giving shoutouts to a fictional person: "Jim Nathan."

The light-hearted prank was revealed on GymNation’s social media, where videos show iconic figures—with a combined weight of a staggering 1358kg—offering words of encouragement to "Jim Nathan" for his new fitness venture.

Those duped into the shoutout included four-time Mr. Olympia winner Jay Cutler, two-time Australia’s Strongest Man Eddie Williams, and World’s Strongest Man winners like Tom Stoltman and Zydrunas Savickas.

In the clips, the strongmen offer their best wishes. "Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to my mate ‘Jim Nathan’," began Icelandic strongman Benedikt Magnusson. "‘Jim Nathan’, me and the rest of the musclebuilding community are right behind you."

Jay Cutler added, "Big ‘Jim Nathan’, what’s going on, my friend? I know you’re heading abroad to start this thing off in the Middle East... I know you’re gonna leave your mark, man."

The prank was a creative way to announce GymNation's new "Strongman" class, held every Saturday at 10 a.m. at their Mirdif club. Inspired by The World's Strongest Man competition, the class is for fitness lovers who enjoy lifting big and includes exercises like Deadlifts, Tyre Flips, Log Press, and the Farmer’s Walk.

Rory McEntee, Chief Marketing Officer at GymNation, commented on the stunt: "It’s a light-hearted prank on a bunch of heavyweight lifters.

It took a bit of courage to pull it off, but who better to get a shout out from for our new Strongman class than the strongest men from around the globe." He jokingly added, "All the lads are welcome to come and use a GymNation club... I might just need to hide in the back office."
