GymNation, a prominent fitness company in the Middle East, is shaking up the fitness industry by introducing an innovative concept at its downtown Dubai location.

The gym now features an in-house hotel equipped with king-size four-poster beds, dumbbell-themed towels, Netflix access, and a playful "Press for Protein" button that provides protein shakes on demand.

This initiative aims to attract active travelers who wish to stick to their fitness routines while on the road.

Dubai, in particular, has been experiencing a significant tourism surge, with a 9% rise in visitors in 2024 compared to the previous year.

Similarly, European tourism to Saudi Arabia grew by 24% during the same period.

GymNation emphasized this trend by opening ten new gyms in 2024, six of which are located in Saudi Arabia.

Reservations for the downtown Dubai location will become available on April 14, with plans to expand the concept to other sites based on demand.

“Hotels may have gyms, but gyms with a built-in hotel? That’s a first!” said Loren Holland, founder and CEO of GymNation.

“At GymNation, our mission has always been to transform the fitness industry and make health and wellness accessible to everyone.

Our new in-gym hotel elevates the entire experience. Now, there’s no need to cut workouts short or leave the gym to recover.

Guests can recharge and jump right into their next set, all within the same space.”

Beyond its move into accommodations, GymNation is also enhancing its Pilates offerings.

Partnering with Basi Systems, a leading name in Pilates equipment, the gym chain aims to provide a budget-friendly alternative to the typically high cost of Reformer Pilates classes.

“At GymNation, we’re once again redefining the rules. We’re offering world-class Pilates equipment led by highly skilled instructors.

Plus, this comes with full access to all our state-of-the-art gym facilities,” Holland stated last month.

“All of this is available for a monthly fee that’s equivalent to the cost of just 2-3 classes at boutique studios.”

GymNation continues to lead the way in adapting to the evolving needs of fitness enthusiasts across the region.
