Jeddah United Club has added another victory to its achievements, claiming gold at the Saudi 3x3 Women’s Basketball Tournament.
The three-day event, held in Madinah, was overseen by the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Basketball Federation, highlighting the nation’s dedication to advancing basketball across all levels.
The tournament featured three categories — men, women, and under-18 boys — attracting over 1,500 spectators and underscoring the sport's growing popularity in Saudi Arabia.

Dominating the Women’s Division
The women’s segment included six teams: Jeddah United, Al-Nassr Club, Al-Qadisiyah Club, NEOM Club, Jeddah Club, and Gym Master Team. From the start, Jeddah United demonstrated unmatched skill and tactical brilliance, cementing their reputation as formidable competitors.
Their campaign began with a dominating 21–2 victory against Gym Master, followed by a 14–5 win over Al-Qadisiyah in the group stages. Jeddah United then sailed through the semifinal, defeating Jeddah Club 20–12.
The final was a nail-biter as they faced a determined Al-Nassr squad. Displaying composure under pressure, Jeddah United secured a thrilling 22–20 victory and clinched the championship without losing a single game.

Bringing the Team Together
The winning team comprised standout athletes Kawthar Khayyat, Fahda Al-Sulaiman, Rand Alnowaiser, and Noura Alkhayyal, under the guidance of team manager Ahmed Amir. Their synergy and tactical prowess set a benchmark for others to follow.
