The Music Run Dubai is set to make its first appearance in the UAE this weekend, and there's still a chance for you to register.
Starting at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, November 16, participants can enjoy a 5km run accompanied by amazing music as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
This event is a segment of the T100 Triathlon World Tour and is perfect for those eager to get active without being at an Olympic level.
Spread across a 5km course, the route features speakers playing festival tunes to boost your adrenaline.
You can register as an individual for Dhs119 or join as a group of up to 10 participants for a discounted rate of Dhs89 per person. The music will be curated by top local DJs, and participants can choose to run, walk, or jog at their own pace.
This new addition to the T100 Triathlon World Tour aims to encourage as many people as possible to get moving, while professional athletes tackle the demanding 100km distance.
The Dubai Fitness Challenge continues until Sunday, November 24, promoting 30 minutes of daily exercise for 30 days.
Regarding the initiative, Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), stated that the Dubai Fitness Challenge is more than just a fitness effort.
"It is an invitation to incorporate physical activity into daily life, with advantages that last beyond the event to foster a healthier lifestyle.
"This year, aligning with His Highness's vision to transform Dubai into one of the world's most active cities and enhance its status as a leading wellness destination, we are working with global partners to provide world-class experiences. The Dubai T100 Triathlon weekend is a testament to this goal.
"We are also excited to see how The Music Run, one of the event's key attractions, will inspire participants to meet their 30×30 targets and lead a more active, healthier life."
