The sport of dodgeball in Saudi Arabia made remarkable progress in 2024, driven by the dedicated efforts of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al Saud, President of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, and his team.

Since its inception a few years ago, the Saudi Dodgeball Federation has focused on promoting the sport to broaden its practice base across the Kingdom and identify new talent to form the foundation of national teams.

These objectives saw significant accomplishments in 2024, marking a new chapter for dodgeball in Saudi Arabia.

Under the leadership of His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al Saud, the Saudi Dodgeball Federation launched an ambitious strategy in 2024.

This initiative emphasized expanding participation and increasing community engagement, encouraging more individuals to take up the sport.

This effort resonated with many young men, women, and juniors, a result evident in the numerous tournaments held across various regions in the Kingdom.

Throughout 2024, the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam experienced heightened activity from the Federation, which organized multiple tournaments for women, men, and juniors under 16.

Over the past year, the Federation hosted 19 tournaments, with participation from more than 1,000 players, including 936 men and 111 women.

The Federation also prioritized developing skilled coaches to nurture a notable generation of trainers while forming the core of its national teams across various age groups.

Over the past year, 75 coaches benefited from specialized technical training courses arranged by the Federation, ensuring all necessary resources were utilized to meet its objectives.

Recognizing the Federation’s commitment to excellence, it was honored with several global certifications in 2024.

Strategic Partnerships

The year 2024 also saw robust partnership activities led by the Federation.
