Get ready to step up your fitness game this summer! Mark your calendars and grab your running shoes because HYROX, the world's largest indoor fitness race, is coming to the capital on Saturday, July 19. This event promises to be epic.

Taking place at ADNEC as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Sports (ADSS), HYROX is a global fitness sensation that blends endurance, strength, and a touch of friendly competition.

Whether you’re a fitness enthusiast, weekend athlete, or someone who craves high-energy challenges, HYROX Abu Dhabi delivers a race that’s guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping.

What is HYROX?

Picture this: eight one-kilometer runs, each followed by a demanding workout station.

From sled pushes to burpee broad jumps, each station is designed to push your limits, testing your endurance, strength, and determination. The best part? It’s built to be accessible for everyone.

How can you join?

You can compete solo in male or female divisions, partner with a friend (mixed, male, or female doubles), gather a team of four for a relay (shared effort, shared fun!), or go for glory in the pro division if you’re feeling particularly ambitious.

Inclusivity is also part of the experience, with an Adaptive Division available for athletes with physical disabilities.

Brought to Abu Dhabi by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, in collaboration with HYROX and Project 206 (the organization bringing HYROX to the Middle East), this event isn’t just a race.

It’s a celebration of community, healthy competition, and pushing yourself to new heights.

If you’re all about functional fitness, electric arena energy, and crushing your personal best, this is an event you’ll want to be a part of.
