Marc Diaper Named New CEO of Fitness First UK

Fitness First UK, which operates nearly 40 gyms offering group classes and personal training, has announced Marc Diaper as its new CEO.

Diaper assumes the role on July 14, succeeding Justin Musgrove, who left earlier this year.

With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Diaper brings a wealth of expertise to the position. Beginning his career as a personal trainer and sports therapist, he has built a long-standing career in fitness, most recently serving as CEO of Gymbox.

During his 14 years with Gymbox, he held various leadership roles that strengthened the boutique brand’s success.

“It’s great to be back, refreshed, and working for one of the industry’s most iconic brands—the brand that introduced many of us to our first gym experience,” Diaper shared in a LinkedIn post confirming his new role.

“Exciting times ahead and more motivated than ever.”

Diaper’s move to Fitness First follows his exit from Gymbox last October, which coincided with Urban Gym Group’s acquisition of Sparring Partners Holdings, Gymbox’s parent company.

His vision and leadership will likely play a vital role in shaping the next chapter for Fitness First UK.
