PFL's "Battle of the Giants: Brace For Impact" is set for Saturday in Riyadh, with a headline bout between Francis Ngannou and Renan Ferreira for the heavyweight world title, as well as Cris Cyborg facing Larissa Pacheco for the women's featherweight title.

Additional matchups at the Mayadeen on Saturday night include a middleweight contest between Johnny Eblen and Fabian Edwards, a featherweight fight featuring Husein Kadimagomaev and Zafar Mohsen, and a lightweight showdown between AJ McKee and Paul Hughes.

The preliminary card will also present a featherweight fight between Ibragim Ibragimov and Nacho Campos, along with a match between Tariq Ismail and Taha Bendaoud.

Some fighters shared their thoughts with the media about the anticipated fight night in Riyadh:

Paul Hughes (Ireland)

"Growing up in Ireland, I looked up to Conor McGregor. No one from Ireland had achieved his level of success in MMA, and he revolutionized the sport. It's hard not to be inspired by that. I hope he returns successfully.

"I don't know him well, but many saw our interaction after my Bellator debut in Dublin. He was cage-side, and I thanked him for inspiring me.

We had dinner once at the Black Forge, which was a significant moment for me. He's always been supportive, and everything's cool."

Johnny Eblen (US)

"Honestly, I don't care what others think. I know what I'm doing in the gym with the best in the world. I train with others who've fought for titles, and I'm continually evolving. I focus on my dedication and pushing myself to the limits."

AJ McKee (US)

Wearing a traditional Saudi thobe, McKee said, "I want to respect the culture, and it's easier not having to choose outfits. Plus, it's comfortable.

"I believe Riyadh can become the fight capital of the world. Their history of promoting major boxing and MMA events is impressive. If Saudi Arabia continues on this path, the possibilities are endless."

Fabian Edwards (Jamaica/UK)

"I feel I won our last fight. There were no mistakes or him outclassing me. I don't hate him. I've matured and realized I don't need to hate opponents.

My job is to fight and aim to dominate. It sounds intense, but that's our sport, and I'll give my all on Saturday."

Tariq Ismail (Sudan)

"I'm honored to be part of this event. It's a privilege for both the event and myself. My training camp in Thailand at a top gym has been outstanding.

You'll witness a balanced performance of striking and grappling."

Zafar Mohsen (Germany/Afghanistan)

"I'm focused, prepared, and ready for this significant featherweight clash. My opponent trains with Khamzat Chimaev, but I'm ready for the challenge. It's an excellent platform to showcase my talent."

Taha Bendaoud (Morocco)

"Martial arts have been my passion since age three, competing in Muay Thai and jiu jitsu. This year posed challenges, but MMA has transformed my life.

I'm determined to perform on Saturday and won't leave without a win. Fighting in Riyadh is a dream come true, and the atmosphere here is remarkable."
