The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) is set to return for its 8th year, encouraging everyone to get moving.

This initiative, led by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to make Dubai a leading active city worldwide.

DFC is a unique, free, 30-day health and fitness event that offers a variety of activities and experiences, motivating participants to engage in 30 minutes of physical activity daily from October 26 to November 24.

This year focuses on community support, inviting individuals to join fitness villages, local activities, or large-scale events with a friend or colleague.

Share your progress using #ShareYour30 to motivate others, whether it’s dancing at home, choosing the stairs over the elevator, or inviting a neighbor for a morning jog.

DFC 2024 features three free 30x30 fitness villages, including the popular DP World Kite Beach Village with numerous classes, and the new RTA Al Warqa’a Park Village, which offers cycling activities, a kids' zone, and a ladies-only area.

The new Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park Village caters to running and cycling fans, complete with a spinning zone, running clubs, cricket pitches, and an obstacle course.

Here, participants can also collect bibs and shirts for major events like the Dubai Ride and Dubai Run. With thousands of free sessions available, these villages help you achieve your 30x30 goals.

Community fitness hubs across the city, in areas like Bluewaters and City Walk, bring workouts closer to home, offering everything from fun fitness sessions to high-energy workouts.

They also provide a space for participants to connect and inspire one another.

Every weekend, DFC opens Sheikh Zayed Road for cycling and running events past iconic landmarks. On November 10, the fifth Dubai Ride invites cyclists of all abilities to join the region's largest cycling event.

On November 24, the sixth Dubai Run gathers thousands of runners for the Challenge's grand finale.

New this year, the Dubai Stand Up Paddle on November 2 offers paddling through Hatta's scenic waters, with added activities like kayaking and sunset yoga.

International events, such as Dubai Premier Padel P1 and Dubai T100 Triathlon, add to the excitement.

Highlights include workouts with celebrity trainers Kayla Itsines and Leana Deeb at Dubai Active, the Middle East’s premier fitness event.

With countless fitness classes, offers at retail outlets, and activities available throughout DFC, participants are set for a rewarding fitness experience.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of DFRE, emphasizes the Challenge's success in fostering community fitness.

The 30x30 concept makes exercise accessible and integrates it into daily life. This year’s varied activities continue to inspire a fitness culture in Dubai.

His Excellency Saeed Hareb notes the Challenge's role in promoting an active lifestyle in Dubai, providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to participate in diverse activities.

With support from partners like Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Sports Council, DFC continues its mission to establish Dubai as one of the world's most active cities.

Participating entities include organizers and partners such as DP World, Dubai Municipality, Mai Dubai, and the RTA, among others.

The initiative is supported by media and government partners, ensuring a successful and inclusive community event.
