The inaugural Riyadh Active Industry, Riyadh Muscle Show, and Riyadh Active Exhibition, hosted by IEG Arabia, a branch of the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), has already established itself as a leading event in the Kingdom.
Over two dynamic days (February 8 and 9), the event, focused on wellness and fitness, attracted 10,000 professionals, buyers, enthusiasts, and competition participants.
Many top-tier brands have already confirmed their return for the 2026 edition.
The event launched with a pre-opening ceremony attended by 120 industry leaders, including guest of honor Naif Aldossary, a consultant at the Saudi Ministry of Sport, and Basim K. Ibrahim, Director of Sport at the Ministry of Investment. Maurizio Ermeti, President of IEG, was also present in Riyadh for this milestone event.
“We are already preparing for the 2026 edition," stated Francesco Santa, International Business Development Director at IEG. "We plan to extend the event from two to three days, double the number of visitors, and triple the exhibition space to 20,000 square meters."
The 2026 edition is set to take place from February 5 to 7 at ROSHN Front, under the guidance of the Saudi Ministry of Sport, in partnership with Supporting Partners and the Ministry of Investment.
This year’s Riyadh Active Industry brought together prominent brands and distributors in wellness and fitness, including Panatta, Wellness First, Delta Fitness, Al Hayat Investments, and Matrix.
Hundreds of industry professionals attended sessions such as Industry Talks, Women in Fitness Forum, and the Kingdom Roundtable.
At the Riyadh Muscle Show, organized in collaboration with the Saudi Bodybuilding Federation and under the patronage of the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, more than 300 competitors participated in the "Kingdom Championships,” the premier national bodybuilding finals.
Exhibitors like Applied Nutrition, Dr. Nutrition, and C4 heightened the event’s vibrancy, contributing to the one-of-a-kind Muscle Show experience.
Finally, the Riyadh Active segment, sponsored by Subway, featured prominent fitness influencers such as Heba Ali and Hana Basrawi, attracting thousands of attendees.
With the involvement of brands like Grenade, Lululemon, Gymnation, and Les Mills, the segment fostered a strong sense of connection within the fitness community.
