Saudi Games 2024 Dates

The dates were announced in April. The 10-day event will run from Thursday, October 7, to Thursday, October 17.

The games will showcase a diverse range of sports divided into two categories: sports and youth sports. With over 40 sports events, anticipate high adrenaline and passion with competitions in archery, athletics, badminton, padel, boxing, and even chess.

Youth sports will feature 15 events, including futsal, fencing, gymnastics, and more.

Saudi Games 2024 Torch Relay

Here's your opportunity to witness the torch before the Saudi Games. The Saudi Games torch tour will see the iconic torch travel throughout Saudi Arabia for 30 days, covering 3,500 kilometers.

The torch relay began in Riyadh’s Diriyah on August 22 and will make its way to Khobar, Madinah, AlUla, Aseer, Al Baha, Tauk, NEOM, Al Ahsa, Jeddah, and more.

The tour will conclude on September 23, coinciding with Saudi National Day.

In the last two editions, numerous exciting experiences unfolded, including the 2023 torch relay, which saw previous champions from the 2022 games carrying the torch over 35,000 kilometers across 21 regions.

Last year, the Saudi Games featured athletes from all over Saudi Arabia competing in 53 individual and team sports, including archery, athletics, esports, golf, sailing, and combat sports such as muay thai, taekwondo, and wrestling.

The last edition also included six Paralympic events, such as basketball.

Last year’s winners received gold, silver, and bronze medals, with prizes amounting to SAR100,000 and more, alongside cash rewards.

Fans were also treated to a concert at the sporting event, with performances by big-name artists like DJ Snake and David Guetta.
