Saudi teams are progressing through final preparations for the 33rd Summer Olympic Games, set to officially begin in Paris on Friday.
Saudi Arabia will be represented by 10 athletes competing in four events: show jumping, taekwondo, athletics, and swimming.
Representing Saudi Arabia in both individual and team show jumping events are riders Ramzi Al-Duhami, Abdullah Al-Sharbatly, Khaled Al-Mobty, and Abdulrahman Al-Rajhi.
The taekwondo team includes Dunia Abu Talib, competing in the 49 kg category.
The athletics team features shot putter Mohammed Tolu, pole vaulter Hussein Al-Hizam, sprinter Hiba Malim in the 100m race, swimmer Mashail Al-Ayed in the 200m freestyle, and swimmer Zaid Al-Sarraj in the 100m freestyle.
Preparation for "Paris 2024" has involved several training camps.
The show jumping team has been training in Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium and is scheduled to arrive in Paris on July 30.
Following her historic qualification as the first Saudi female to qualify for the Olympics through preliminary rounds, Dunia Abu Talib began her training in Riyadh.
Her training then continued in Antalya, Turkey, and she is currently training in Tunisia, with an expected arrival in Paris on August 3.
Shot putter Mohammed Tolu has been training in Lisbon, Portugal.
He will join the Saudi team camp in Normandy, France, on Thursday for a four-day stint before moving into the athletes' village in Paris.
Athletes Hussein Al-Hizam and Hiba Malim, who qualified for the French Olympics earlier in July, are training at the Normandy camp.
They will enter the athletes' village at the end of July.
Swimmers Mashail Al-Ayed and Zaid Al-Sarraj will be the first from the Saudi team to arrive at the athletes' village on Thursday, coming from the team camp in Normandy.
