Aivars Šmaukstelis has been crowned the champion of the 2025 Strongman Champions League Dubai, which took place on October 18-19.

Šmaukstelis delivered a consistently strong performance, sealing his victory with a dominant showing on the final day.

Event Highlights
The competition kicked off with the Dumbbell Press, where athletes had to press a massive 100-kg (220.5-lb) dumbbell for as many reps as possible.
The event ended in a five-way tie for first place, with Šmaukstelis, Adam Roszkowski, Ramin Farajnejad, Kevin Hazeleger, and Jihad El Masri all completing four reps.
In the Deadlift for Reps, using a car-loaded apparatus, Britain's Graham Hicks demonstrated his incredible power, pulling an impressive 12 reps to win the event.
Ramin Farajnejad followed with nine reps, while Šmaukstelis tied for third with seven reps.
Speed was the name of the game in the Sandbag Toss. Competitors had to hurl five sandbags over a 4.5-meter bar. Brian Kichton proved to be the fastest, completing the event in a blistering 10.78 seconds.
Day two began with the Hummer Pull, where athletes pulled a heavy truck over a 25-meter course. Jesper Hansson edged out the competition with a winning time of 19.31 seconds.
Šmaukstelis began his surge to the top in the Loading Race, a brutal test of speed and strength.
While Péter Juhász won the event, Šmaukstelis’s second-place finish was enough to vault him into the overall lead heading into the final event.
The championship concluded with the iconic Atlas Stones. Needing a strong finish to secure his victory, Šmaukstelis left nothing to chance.
He powered through all six stones, ranging from 120 kg to 200 kg, in just 22.79 seconds to win the event and the 2025 Strongman Champions League Dubai title.
Adam Roszkowski finished second in the event, securing his silver medal overall.
