Spartan Race Coming to Dubai

A thrilling new race designed to test your limits is set to hit Dubai this April.

For those unfamiliar, the Spartan Race is renowned for being one of the toughest yet most rewarding obstacle races out there.

The Dawn ’til Dusk obstacle course will take place on Saturday, April 19, at a specially designed arena within the luxurious Bab Al Shams desert resort.

The resort will be transformed into a dramatic Colosseum-inspired venue set against a desert backdrop, guaranteeing racers a challenging and unforgettable experience.

If you were one of the 4,000 participants in January’s inaugural Trifecta weekend, you already know how extreme these races can be.

This time around, racers will have two familiar formats to choose from: the 5km Sprint and the 10km Super. Both courses promise intense, fun challenges that will push boundaries while tapping into your adventurous side.

The 5km Sprint features obstacles such as a cage climb, barbed wire crawl, fire leap, and wall climb.

Meanwhile, the Super will span 10km and include 25 obstacles focusing on strength and endurance to challenge even the fittest competitors.

Beyond the adrenaline-filled race itself, attendees can enjoy a full-day desert experience, complete with entertainment, recovery areas, and food and beverages from top brands.

Tickets are already available online, with prices starting at Dhs295 for the Sprint and Dhs365 for the Super. Additionally, three kid-friendly races (1km, 1.5km, and 3km) will be available, with tickets starting at Dhs110.

With Obstacle Course Racing recently added to the Modern Pentathlon lineup for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, now is the perfect time to begin training.

Spartan has been instrumental in bringing obstacle racing to the global stage, hosting world-class events that attract elite athletes, teams, and beginners alike.
