Sporty Summer in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is turning up the heat on its summer activities with an exciting sports-driven agenda.

The Abu Dhabi Summer Sports event is back for its fourth and most impressive edition, running daily at the ADNEC Center from June 5 to August 21.

Organized by the ADNEC Group and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, this event has become the largest indoor summer sports gathering in the region.

Spread across an expansive 37,500 square meters of air-conditioned comfort, the event is a haven for sports enthusiasts, providing a much-needed break from the summer heat.

Highlights include an extended indoor track featuring four running lanes spanning 1.2 kilometers, and 52 courts and activity areas meeting international standards.

These facilities cater to a variety of sports, including football, basketball, padel, badminton, volleyball, tennis, table tennis, and even chess.

Fitness enthusiasts are in for a treat, as the globally renowned HYROX indoor fitness race debuts in Abu Dhabi on July 19, promising an endurance-packed challenge.

Another new attraction is the Club Zone, which focuses on strength and combat sports like Muay Thai, boxing, weightlifting, judo, and archery.

Dedicated areas for CrossFit and gym workouts ensure there's something for everyone seeking a stylish training atmosphere.

Families are also well-catered to, with kids’ zones, play areas, summer camps, and over 50 community activities.

The eight-week program boasts wellness initiatives like yoga and meditation, as well as classes, competitions, and sports clinics designed to engage visitors of all ages.

To aid recovery, a wellness zone is available for stretching and unwinding after physical activities.

The event operates from 6 am to 1 am daily, offering free parking and a variety of food and beverage options for visitors’ convenience.

A new mobile app and web platform make it easy to browse activities, book courts, and plan your day in just a few clicks. The app is already available for download on Google Play and the App Store.
