As Dubai embraces the city-wide Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), golf clubs and academies are teaming up to welcome residents and visitors to the green.
How long is your ideal workout?
The "Golf is Good x Dubai Fitness Challenge" initiative is back, offering over 100 free golf activities to encourage everyone to discover the sport.
Running from November 10 to 30, this program invites people of all ages and skill levels to get involved.
Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, ten venues across the city are offering a wide range of activities.
Participants can enjoy everything from lessons and clinics to simulator sessions and even a "Walk to Win" step challenge at Jumeirah Golf Estates during the DP World Tour Championship.
The initiative also extends to schools, with "Unleash Your Drive in Schools," a program designed to introduce children to the sport and its values.
Neal Graham of The R&A expressed his excitement, stating, “This initiative provides a fantastic opportunity to highlight the many health and well-being benefits of golf and to introduce more people to the sport.”
Echoing this, General Abdullah Al Hashmi, President of the Emirates Golf Federation, added, “We're proud to make golf more accessible and invite people of all ages and abilities to discover its physical and mental health benefits.
Our hope is that many will continue playing long after the Challenge ends.”
Research shows that golfers tend to live longer, enjoy better strength and balance, and experience improved overall wellbeing.
This collaboration with DFC provides the perfect chance to experience these benefits firsthand.
