Dubai, UAE – The Employee Happiness Awards (EHA) 2024, which honors UAE companies excelling in employee well-being, concluded with great fanfare at a gala event held at the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, The Palm, Dubai, on June 7.

Organized by Plan3Media, a leading event management company known for promoting merit-based awards in the Middle East, EHA 2024 recognized companies that implemented outstanding initiatives and programs to enhance workplace well-being and employee satisfaction.

Participating companies underwent a rigorous nomination process, presenting their initiatives to the jury in the final round.

De Montfort University (DMU) received a Silver award for 'Best Leadership Succession Strategy.' "At DMU, leadership succession is key to our long-term success.

We are honored to receive this award, which acknowledges our commitment to nurturing future leaders through tailored development programs and broad industry exposure," said Prof Dr. Mike Gallimore, Head of DMU Dubai.

HNI won the Silver award in the 'Best Flexible Working Program' category.

"We are proud to be recognized for our flexible working program.

Understanding the importance of work-life balance for employee happiness and productivity, our strategy meets both business objectives and employee needs.

This award underscores our dedication to creating a dynamic and adaptable work environment," remarked Hanan Nagi, CEO & Founder, HNI.

AbbVie Biopharmaceuticals secured the Bronze award in the 'Best Employee Wellness Initiative' category.

"At AbbVie, we emphasize a holistic approach to well-being, beyond just physical and emotional health.

This focus empowers our employees to thrive, leading to increased engagement and a stronger sense of well-being," stated Arzu Najjar, HR Director Gulf Levant, AbbVie Biopharmaceuticals.

ADNH Compass was recognized as the Silver winner in the 'Best Company to Work For - Large' category.

GymNation celebrated winning the Gold award in the 'Best Company to Work For - SME' category.

Burjeel Holdings earned the Gold award in the 'Best Diversity and Inclusion Program' category.

"Our success in winning this accolade is due to our efforts in our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiative.

This achievement is highlighted by our progress in gender equality, with over 750 women leaders and a 54% representation of women in our workforce," shared Mrs. Madhuri Aswal, Group Director, Human Resources, Burjeel Holdings.
