UBX Enters UAE Amid Expansion

UBX (pronounced "You-Box"), a fitness franchise combining boxing and strength training, has launched its first gym in the UAE. The region is quickly becoming a hub for boutique fitness concepts, gym chains, and wellness brands.

Situated at Marina Gate, the new UBX gym marks a major milestone in the company’s goal of establishing 600 locations within the next five years.

This opening follows UBX's recent launch in Japan and is part of a global expansion strategy that includes upcoming locations in Tanjong Pagar, Singapore; Old Greenwich, Connecticut; Margaret River, Western Australia; and Greenford Quay, London.

Last year, UBX collaborated with Adidas Boxing to create a co-branded merchandise line for its gyms. Additionally, in late 2023, UBX introduced a 24/7 access model that allows members to use select gyms during non-staffed hours with a membership tag.

This focus on convenience is further emphasized by rolling start times, enabling members to join a 12-round, 45-minute boxing and strength training circuit whenever it suits them.

The franchise also offers 1-on-1 coaching and features an app with on-demand workouts, nutrition guidance, and mindset resources.
