The Women's Run 2024 is set to take place at Expo City Dubai on November 3.
The event's mission is to encourage and inspire women from diverse backgrounds to engage in fitness while celebrating their strength, accomplishments, and resilience.
Supported by the Dubai Sports Council and Dubai Fitness Challenge, this event features a captivating route through the renowned Al Forsan Park.
Participants have the option to choose from three categories: a 3km fun run, a 5km circuit, or the more demanding 10km run.
Beyond the main race, there are numerous engaging activities and initiatives planned in the lead-up to the event.
Free training sessions are available every Monday and Thursday, hosted by community groups such as 5:30 Run and At the Park, providing a supportive atmosphere for women preparing for the event.
A standout feature of this year’s event is the Women of Substance initiative, which highlights empowering stories from women in various fields.
To further enhance the experience, the 2024 edition will feature a specially composed anthem by Ahmed Al Hosani, the UAE’s first Emirati classical singer.
This anthem aims to motivate participants and will be played during the weekly training sessions to build excitement as the race day approaches.
Organized by Planb Group, with support from partner brands including ASICS, Rove Hotels, and Fade Fit, the event focuses not only on fitness but also on unity, strength, and the empowerment of women from all walks of life.
Dr. Harmeek Singh, founder of Planb Group and Race Chairman, emphasizes the event's broader purpose, saying, "This event is about much more than fitness — it’s about unity, strength, and the empowerment of women from all backgrounds.
We are thrilled to bring this to life in partnership with Expo City Dubai. Join us in becoming a part of this movement dedicated to nurturing a healthier and fitter lifestyle for all.”
Dr. Singh previously served as the Marketing Strategy Director for the UAE Athletic Federation from 2017 to 2019, where he played a key role in establishing the successful Women's Run.
Registration is open on Premier Online, with ticket prices starting at Dh52 for adults and Dh26 for juniors.
