The world of wrestling mourns the loss of one of its most iconic figures as Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida home on the morning of Thursday, July 24.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene at 9:51 a.m., where Hogan received immediate care before being transported to Morton Plant Hospital.

Despite these efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving. Authorities have yet to disclose an official cause of death.

This news comes just weeks after Hogan’s wife, Sky, denied swirling rumors that the WWE Hall of Famer was in critical condition or a coma.

She had reassured fans that his heart was “strong” as he recovered from recent surgeries, putting to rest earlier speculation about his health.

The rumors of Hogan’s struggle began after radio host Bubba the Love Sponge alleged that the wrestling icon was bedridden and battling difficulties with speaking, citing information from wrestling manager Jimmy Hart.

Hart, however, quickly refuted these claims, later posting on Facebook, “Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!”

Hogan rose to fame in the 1980s as a larger-than-life personality, helping to catapult the WWE into mainstream popularity.

With his unmatched charisma, signature moves, and enduring persona, he became a household name, inspiring fans around the world for decades.
