The Emirates Group has consistently shown dedication to the health and well-being of its employees by wholeheartedly supporting the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) since it began.

Since 2017, more than 51,000 staff members have taken part, promoting a fitness-oriented culture and resulting in millions of minutes spent on physical activities and burning numerous calories through various workout sessions.

With just four days remaining before this year's event starts, the Emirates Group is encouraging its employees to participate in a month-long fitness regime through the 30X30 challenge, which involves doing 30 minutes of exercise daily for 30 days.

Those who successfully complete the challenge will be awarded a complimentary flight ticket to any location within the extensive Emirates network.

Dubai's fitness buffs can anticipate a diverse range of free classes offered throughout the city, along with chances to take part in major community sporting events like the Dubai Run and Dubai Ride, or simply stick to their preferred fitness activities—all of which support their personal wellness goals.

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, expressed pride in the organization's involvement with the DFC.

He stated, "At Emirates, we have always embraced our role in promoting physical well-being.

Over the years, we have partnered with renowned global sports teams to highlight this initiative, organized friendly competitions to showcase team spirit, and arranged numerous fitness-related events, all aligned with Dubai's vision to be recognized as one of the world's most active cities."

He further emphasized the company's culture of care, stating, "Investing in the health and well-being of our employees is crucial.

Our comprehensive wellness programs, active employee sports clubs, and supportive policies are designed to align with our employees' fitness aspirations, thereby strengthening our brand and enhancing our recruitment and retention strategy—building a strong and resilient workforce for the future."

The 'Sehaty' program, meaning 'my health' in Arabic, runs year-round to promote physical and mental health awareness, preventive screenings, and informational sessions on wellness.

Various departments within the Emirates Group, including Medical Services and Human Resources, actively contribute to providing accessible health insights that empower employees to make informed health decisions.

Furthermore, the organization has over 30 sports and hobby clubs that cover a wide range of activities, from football to snowboarding.

Highlighting the importance of these clubs in encouraging a healthy lifestyle, Emirates Group supports employees who represent national teams and provides funding for participation in major sporting events.

During the DFC, fitness experts from within the Group will offer free classes across all facilities, while team members will receive exclusive discounts at several Dubai gyms.

Continuous wellness tips on health, nutrition, and mental fitness are regularly shared with employees to cultivate a nurturing environment.

Additionally, the Emirates Group has a substantial portfolio of sports sponsorships that allow employees to enjoy unique experiences, such as training with NBA legend Isiah Thomas as part of the women’s basketball team, or participating with the cycling team alongside UAE Team Emirates.

These unforgettable moments further enrich the corporate culture and affirm the Group's dedication to sports and employee involvement.
