Cristiano Ronaldo, known as CR7, is set to become both an investor and brand ambassador for Whoop, a technology company specializing in wearable devices.

Ronaldo's new role with Whoop marks his "most significant investment to date."

Whoop is renowned for its fitness tracker that evaluates strain, recovery, and sleep patterns.

This device is particularly popular among athletes and is commonly used to monitor overall health and even detect illnesses.

Notable athletes associated with Whoop include basketball star LeBron James, golfer Rory McIlroy, and swimmer Michael Phelps.

Ronaldo will join this elite group not only as an ambassador but also as an investor.

The 39-year-old soccer sensation will be part of a global team of ambassador investors that includes Eli Manning, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Mahomes, and Michael Phelps.

"Whoop has had a transformative impact on my life both on and off the pitch," Ronaldo said in a statement. "I wear Whoop while training, sleeping, and recovering. It’s been one of the most important tools helping me elevate my game and monitor my health."

Ronaldo is coming off an exceptional personal season with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, having scored an impressive 48 goals in 48 games. He has also been named to Portugal’s provisional Euro 2024 squad.

Throughout his career in the SPL, CR7 has netted 62 goals in 67 matches and secured the Arab Club Champions Cup with his team.
