Dubai hosting 40+ sports events in June

In June, Dubai will host over 40 local and international sports events, organized in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council.

These events will see participation from a large number of Emirati and expatriate athletes of various ages, nationalities, and skill levels.

Leading the list of international sports events is the Asian Basketball Champions League, scheduled for June 9-24 at Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Hall in Shabab Al-Ahli Club – Al-Mamzar. Nine clubs, including one from Shabab Al-Ahli Club, and teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Korea, along with two teams from the West Asia Basketball Premier League Final, will compete.

The Du Gym International Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship will take place on June 8-9 at the Collegiate International School in Umm Suqeim, featuring Olympic female champions.

From June 1-2, the King of Table International Arm-wrestling Championship will be held at Dubai Investment Park, alongside the WBA Strike International Padel Championship.

The Nightshot International Open Billiards Tournament will be held on June 12-15 at the Armada Hotel in Barsha 1, while the Dynasty International Gymnastics Championship is set for June 28-30 at Hamdan Sports Complex.

On June 2, Dubai will celebrate World Cycling Day with the Cycling Community Race at the Cycling Racetrack in Dubai Investment Park.

Additionally, the Paltoon Cycling Race will occur at DX Bike in Nad Al-Sheba, and the Vice President’s Cup of Jiu-Jitsu will be hosted at Shabab Al-Ahli in Al-Nahda from June 1-2.

The Lululemon Yoga Event is scheduled for June 1 at the Asateer Tent in Atlantis Palm Hotel, in honor of International Yoga Day.

FCC Boxing will take place on June 1 at FCC Club in Al-Quoz Industrial, featuring 28 boxers across 14 bouts in different weight classes.

The Experts Artistic Gymnastics Championship is planned for June 1-2 at the Sports Hall in Jumeirah Secondary School on Jumeirah Street. The Damac Automobile Race will be held at Dubai Autodrome.

The Professionals Fly Disc League will run from June 1-30 at Zaabeel Park, and the Barsha Running event will take place at Barsha South Park, alongside the Fortuna Badminton Championship.

Lina Deeb, a renowned female fitness trainer and social media celebrity, will host a sports day for women of various ages and skill levels at Toda Hall in Madinat Jumeirah, offering intensive training sessions.

The Dunes Run Football & Athletics Championships will be held at Dubai International Academy Stadium in Emirates Hills.

Hamdan Sports Complex will host six events: the Swimming Champions Cup on June 1, the Pirate Diving Cup on June 4, Hamilton Aquatics Swimming on June 8, the Open Development Swimming Championship on June 15-16, the Summer Swimming Championship on June 22-23, and the Dynasty Gymnastics Championship.

The Ski Dubai Hall in the Mall of the Emirates will host the Alpine Ski Championship for Schools on June 8-9.

The Legends Boxing Championship will take place at the JW Marriot Marquis Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The European Council Community Padel Championship will be held at the Rally Padel Club in Al Quoz 3, and the Pirate Diving Cup Finals at Deep Dive Dubai in Nad Al Sheba.

The ASEX Badminton Championship will be at the Engage Sports Academy in Al Qusais Industrial Area 3, while the Aspire Artistic Gymnastics Championship will be at the Aspire Club in Dubai Investment Park 2.

The Open Gymnastics Championship will occur at the Grand Dance Academy in Al Quoz 3.

The Wellman Summer Running event will be held in Al-Barari Dubai, and the Badminton Championship is scheduled for June 10-13 at Dubai Sports World in Dubai World Trade Center, as part of the Dubai School Games Tournament.

The Summer Running inside Shopping Malls event will be on June 16 at Wafi City in Oud Maitha.

The Grand Prix Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding event is set for June 22, and the Alpine Ski Race for Professionals on June 23 at Ski Dubai Snow Hall in Mall of the Emirates.

A Cricket Tournament will be hosted at the Indoor Hall of United Pro Sports Club in Al Quoz, while the Mixed Games Tournament for People of Determination will be at Dubai Sports World, part of the Dubai Schools Games Tournament.

Lastly, the Dubai Canal Night Run will commence on June 29 from the Pullman Hotel in Business Bay along the Dubai Water Canal.
