Dubai Malls Host Fitness Hubs for DSS

Dubai's malls are set to transform into bustling race tracks during this year's Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), with the introduction of the season's first indoor mall runs.

Families, friends, recreational runners, and fitness enthusiasts alike are invited to join the morning events at Mall of the Emirates on August 25 and Dubai Festival City Mall on September 1.

Kicking off at 6 AM, these community happenings promise a unique chance for individuals of all ages and fitness levels to stay active in a cool, indoor setting.

These inclusive events, organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), are part of a packed DSS calendar featuring thousands of activities across the city.

Open to everyone, regardless of age, skill, or ability, the events aim to foster community engagement and promote an active lifestyle.

For those aiming for a healthier future or seasoned athletes pursuing personal records, participants can select from three different distances.

The 2.5 km and 5 km routes offer a fun sprint with family and friends, while the 10 km course provides a tougher challenge.

Participants can anticipate exciting mornings filled with enthusiasm and energy. Registration and t-shirt collection will begin at 6 AM, with the race starting at 7 AM.

The events will culminate in an impressive prize-giving ceremony, where all runners will receive participation medals upon finishing, and special medals will be presented to the top three male and female competitors in each age group.
