1. Sail GP (January 13-14)

In just one week, Abu Dhabi will host its very first Sail GP event. This exciting boat race will feature teams from countries like Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA.

They will be racing their speedy F50 boats in the Mina Zayed waters. Plus, on Saturday, January 13, after the boat races, there will be a special concert by the famous boyband, Take That.

This big event will bring together some of the top cricket players for some really thrilling matches. The games will take place in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah.

Besides the main matches, there's also a special chance for young aspiring athletes aged 7 to 11 to get involved.

The 14th TriYAS event, known as 'the race for everyone,' is happening on February 24 this year. This triathlon is at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Both kids and adults can join in, with lots of different events like a junior triathlon, stand-up paddling, a quick sprint race, team relays, a two-sport race (duathlon), and even a half marathon on roller skates! There are various distances and levels, so everyone can find something that suits them.

The event is at Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, on February 24.

6. Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

The 2023 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is an exciting 58-lap race around the 5.3-kilometer Yas Marina Circuit on Yas Island.
Every year, Formula 1 fans flock to Abu Dhabi for this spectacular end-of-season race. This November, you can watch some of the best drivers in the world, like Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, and Max Verstappen, compete.

8. World League of Fighters (WLF)

The UAE is gearing up for its first-ever franchise-based combat sports event this year.
The World League of Fighters (WLF), in partnership with the World Boxing Council, is set to present an exciting display of international combat sports talent.
